There He Goes Again

There goes Raymond Blanchard again, spewing horse**it in the letter page in the Times Union. Today he's allowed to make the moronic point that we don't need the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms because 'it's a different time than when the point of the Amendment was go protect ourselves in a dangerous world and now we have the police for that'.

Ummm. No.

The 2nd Amendment is to protect us from the government, including the government's police force.

Cripes, how ignorant can you get? Remember that thing called the American Revolution? They weren't rebelling against people breaking into their houses to steal their stereos.
